The East Kent coast has an abundance of golf courses and we are happy to arrange tee-off times at a wide range of the local golf courses. We can cater for 20 people and sleep 14 golfers at The Guesthouse and we are also able to hold your evening meals.
North Foreland Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away in north Broadstairs and boasts an 18-hole golf course which until qualifying rules for The Open changed in 2010 was one of the courses used for qualification. The course is a challenging 6400 yards on a links-style clifftop setting and is alleged to be the only golf course in the UK where you can see the sea from every tee and from every green. There is also an amazing 18-hole par-3 course on which the holes range from 50 yards to 140 yards in length which is a challenge in its own right.
Prince's Golf Club is located adjacent to Royal St George's on the Sandwich coast. It boasts 27 Holes set out in three 9-hole courses; Shores, Dunes and Himalayas as well as excellent practice facilities and an impressive clubhouse. Fourballs, groups, company days and society bookings are accepted 7 days a week, subject to availability.
Royal St George's is a true great of British and World golf having hosted PGA and Amateur Championships, Walker Cups, Curtis Cups and Opens, most recently in 2011 when Darren Clarke took home the claret jug. Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday and you will require a letter of introduction from your golf club secretary and be able to produce evidence of a handicap of 18 or better.
An 18-hole Championship Links golf course based on the Kent coast just niorth of Dealwith excellent practice facilities, driving range, putting green, chipping green and pitching greens. Visitors and societies are very welcome all year round.
Littlestone has two courses, the Championship Links and the Warren offering members and visitors the superbly presented golf on great links courses. Based on Romney Marsh, visitors are welcome all year using their online booking facility.
Less of a challenge than some of those already mentioned, but equally enjoyable are some of the smaller golf courses in the local area, namely Westgate & Birchington, St Augustine's, Stonelees and Manston.
